Product Description
T1S2-10S, 25 cm 2 Ohm subwoofer, Rockford Fosgate
The re-engineered T1 Slim subwoofer series delivers next-level reliability and tactile bass performance, offering improved responsiveness and exceptional thermal management. Available in both sealed and ported options, these subwoofers are designed for the tightest installations, while still providing all the bass you demand. Sold individually (1 each).
Sound of Surround
Utilizing Nano Cell Direct injection and a bonded co-molded surround, the T1 series subwoofers ensures maximum reliability and high efficiency low end bass extension.
VCCF (Voice Coil Composite Former)
The voice coil is the heart of any speaker, and ours is crafted from a specialized composite material rigorously tested to withstand extreme heat and low thermal conditions, ensuring no-quit power and minimal motor distortion.
Dual Spiders
The voice coil carrier features a asymmetric aligned 2-spider design to deliver enhanced bass response. Each spider works together to handle a range of low-end notes, ensuring you never miss any bass hits in your music.
Perfect Fit
Available in multiple options, including sealed and ported options, these subwoofers make it easy to find the perfect fit for any installation, no matter the space.
MAX BASS, SLIM SPACE
This Gen-2 version of Rockford Fosgate's "T1 Slim" subwoofer is designed to deliver big bass in a compact, shallow design. It's been re-engineered with more mass to fit in smaller enclosures and includes upgrades like a new surround and better heat management. The “S” sealed version is designed for smaller sealed enclosures and work best in closed environments (truck cab).
The voice coil now uses pure copper wire for better conductivity, paired with a new composite former to dissipate heat and reduce distortion. Additionally, an aluminum spider spacer improves cooling. The suspension utilizes a new polymer surround, made using an advanced NCDI (Nano Cell Direct Injection) process to enhance efficiency and durability without risking dry-rot.

NCDI Surround
This improved surround uses a supercritical synthetic organic polymer created through an NDCI (Nano-Cell Direct Injection) molding process. This high efficiency design offers low distortion with low-end bass extension in a surround technology resistant to dry rot.
Dual Spiders
The voice coil carrier features an asymmetrically aligned 2-spider design to deliver enhanced bass response. Each spider works together to handle a range of low-end notes, ensuring you never miss any bass-hits in your music.
Aluminum Spider Spacer
The spider spacer helps dissipate thermal build-up across the suspension by using heat-sinking aluminum material on the outside of the spider.
Multi-Vent Pole Piece
The pole piece uses a voice coil direct venting array system to further dissipate heat generated by the voice coil.
VCCF (Voice Coil Composite Former)
The voice coil former is comprised of a high-performance composite material (polyimide resin glass & epoxy resin glass fiber) rigorously tested to withstand extreme heat. This material has low magnetic susceptibility and is an insulator to prevent inductive effects and eddy currents, resulting in minimal motor distortion.
CTA-2031
Power handling on Rockford Fosgate speakers conform to CTA-2031 industry standards.
Verified with Klippel
Klippel is a speaker certification program that tests for consistent mechanical and acoustic performance.
IDHS™ Inductive Damping Heat Sink
Secures directly to the top of magnet structure to improve system efficiency by reducing both distortion and back EMF (Electo-Magnetic Force) of the woofer. IDHS also utilizes fins to radiate heat and reduce voice coil temperature.
SYMS
Patent: 9,008,348 The unique motor structure design allows full excursion capabilities of the woofers voice coil while allowing an overall reduction in woofer mounting depth.
EVCC
Patent: 9,025,809 Our EVCC (Encapsulated Voice Coil Coupling) technology connects to the woofers voice coil from both the top and bottom and provides a more secure mounting platform for both the dual spiders and cone assembly.
VAST Surround - Subs
Patent: Patent Pending The Vertical Attach Surround Technique significantly increases a subwoofer's effective radiating cone area up to 25%.
FlexFit Basket - Subwoofer
The slot mounted frame pattern allows fine-tuning of the subwoofer's mounting position.
Stitched Tinsel Leads
Improved reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting.
